  1. They was a man an' woman livin' in' Coolyhayan wan time, an' they had wan child, a little girl.
    This night they were sittin' at the fire an' the child was in the cradle asleep, after some time, they heered what they thought was a bee buzzin in the chimbly(?) an' twas sthrange(?) to hear a bee buzzin in a winthers night.
    befor whim(?) they wint-to get ready for bed. The woman wint-over to the cradle to take up the child. an' wasn't-it-gone out-o The cradle. The poor father an' mother run to the neighbour's houses.
