   There is a fort in the townland of Rathredmond. Around this fort there are two sod banks one side and a hedge the other side. Under this forst there is a small cave and inside there is a small door leading from one room to another. Outside there is a small door leading into the cave. In the middle of this fort there is a small bush growing and a couple of yards from the bush there is a rough stone table covered with moss. It is said that this fort was built by the Normans. Long ago young boys used to play cards in it at night, but one night they were frightened by strange
