He buckled on the new pipes and began to play and instead of music you would thing that it was all the geese and ganders in Ireland that were screeching together and he wakened all the neighbours and they all began to humbog him until he put on the old pipes and then he played the finest music that ever they heard.

   The next morning the mother got up early and prepared herself to go to town to buy provisions for the house but when she went for the (money) gold there was no gold at all in it but yellow withered (of) old leaves of some plant
