- There was an industry carried on in Dunmacreena long ago. It was on Oaten-meal mill but it is not carried on there now but it is in Conagher instead.Candles were made with tallow, and soap was also made out of tallow. Baskets and skibs were made out of rods. Forge-work was carried on such as making spades, ploughs, gates, grates, harrow-pins, and other iron-work.There was a well down in Kilvine and the people used to leave cloths in it to be dyed, they were left there over-night.In the morning the cloths would be dyed until at last the cloths(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
