When he had finished he got up and started on his journey but strange to say that he fell dead about 100 yards from the door. In height it is about five or 6 feet it is a miserable-looking bush and there was no other tree near it for years children were afraid to pass by it late at night. The present owner, John Dillon made a plantation beside it about 20 years ago so it is not such an object of terror to children now.
