    lying on it's back tells us of a month's rain, while a new moon sitting up straight is a sign of fine weather while the moon lasts.
    A warm sunrise is supposed to bring rain during the day. A red sunset during fine weather is the sign of a warm day on the morrow. A red sunset during rainy weather foretells a continuance of that kind of weather.
