    no milk to give the calf, but still the calf lived and was very fat the same as if he was getting milk. One night this man planned to remain watching the calf. Towards midnight, he saw the cow coming again, and giving, and giving the calf milk, but he was afraid to touch her. Next night, he asked some of his neighbors to remain up with him, and at about midnight, they saw he cow coming again, and they tried to catch her.
    The man caught her by the tail, and she brought him in under the hill of Knock Ma, and there he saw the most beautiful house he ever saw in his life before. After a few days, the fairies let him return, giving him back the cow. Long ago, the fairies used to take people from their homes, and leave sickly ones in their place. They brought a woman from Kilamonagh, and they brought her to England. They left her in a house, telling her that they would call for her soon. The woman sat down to rest and after a while she got a pipe belonging to a man who was working in the house and she had a smoke. Before she had to to leave from her, the fairies had taken her away again. The pipe was belonging
