    would find a blacksmith to do this. He thought of his two nephews who had a forge in the village of Killbeag about five miles from Ballyhaunis and he knew that one of the would come to help him to put in the spring. One morning he set out for Killbeag. When he reached the house he asked if one of the boys might help him to stick the potatoes. The boy came down to help him and one Sunday morning both went to cover some slits for next day in the field. The old man brought the coal and placed it on one side of the stone
