- There are different kinds of animals kept on every farm, such as cows, calves, pigs, sheep, goats and horses, and the different kinds of fowl are hens, ducks, geese and turkeys.
The cows are given different names such as Bess, Cailin, Polly and many others, and each night they are tied in a cow house or stable.
