- In the olden times people had names for all their field. Here are some of them.
There is a great big field near Feamore called the "Glen of Sheep" or as the old people called it "Gleann na Gcaorach." It is so called because in the olden times there used to be shepherds minding sheep in that piece of land.
There is a hole about half a mile from Logboy wood which is called "Poll a Chapaill"
