  2. We have a churn at home. It is three feet high. The things you churn with are called a churn dash. When you are making a churning the churn is cleaned and the cream is put into the churn. Then it is churned for one hour. There are four feet under our churn. Then the butter is taken out and it is rinsed and it is made into rolls. Is was an old custom long ago that if a person came in he would churn a while.
