    A man then came but he saw it was no use in trying to save it. Then they put out the fire for fear the thatch would fall into it and burn all the house. They had just the fire quenched when the storm ceased.
    There was a heavy snow storm in the
    year one thousand nine hundred and seventy. The snow was about six feet deep.
    There was a lot of damage done. There were sheep lost and (many) other damage done also.
