    When a person throws out water at night time the old people say “Chugaibh! Chugaibh! Uisce salach.” The people say this lest any of the “Good People” might happen to be outside. Once a man threw out dirty water at night time, when he was going to bed he heard something outside, and when he got up in the morning all his hair was left beside in the bed and ever since he was a bald man.

    Long ago there was a woman who went to a house for a riddle while the people were making a churning. When the woman went in to the house she said “God bless the work” but she didn’t take the churn-dash and after she went out they could not get any butter because she made a charm and brought the butter
