   the people of the town to buy the dwelling and there establish a Domestic Economy School. As there was then an existing Domestic Economy School at the Convent, a further grant for the establishment of the new school was refused by the Board. The Reverend Mother then, at her own expense, furnished the school with all the necessary requirements. Early in 1916 the nuns began to live there.
   The Domestic Economy School grew by leaps and bounds and now it is a flourishing school, recognised throughout the whole county for the great training that is given there, each year to hundreds of girls. The School is crowned with the laurels of success and grateful thanks are due to the Reverend Mother who counted no cost in the task of its establishment.
