   A Story about a Priest When a priest was on the run in Ireland and He came to Mullafarry Killala. and asked a man named Carrol to hide him. Mr. Carrol said that he had no place to hide him but that he was building a stack of turf and that he would hide him in it if he wished. The Priest agreed and he hid him in the stack. When the yeomen came they offered £5 to anyone that would give them information about the Priest, Although he was a Protestant he refused to give any information to the yeomen. The present Carrols of Mullafarry are the desendants of that Mr. Carrol.
