Answer - When it becomes a Woman - About fifty years ago there was an old school on the top Mullagh-na-Crusha. The House is still standing there. Mr Thomas McHale was the teacher there. He was from Killy-Brone. His father lived in a galvanized house along the Killala road.
He taught in this school until 1890, when the present Templemary School was built. He taught a short time in Templemary. He had to resign because he was not a qualified teacher. There was another school in Moneen. Mrs O' Neill taught there.- Collector
