    her she had got so thin. It was not long until the priest came and said "You have to do a pilgramage to Croagh Patrick and you must walk on your hands and knees from the bottom to the top of the Reek and no doubt you will get a message from god on the top. Go now or you'll be late" The woman went and at the foot of the Reek she went on her hands and knees. She was two days and two nigths going to the top. When she got to the top her hands and feet were torn and bleeding. She sat down to rest and a faintness came over her and she fell asleep. When she awoke Granie O was beside her. She handed her a paper and said. "Look! is this the paper you put your hand to when you sold yourself and your family."
    "It is." said the poor widow "I give a thousand thanks to god that I am saved."
    When she came home the priest came and said Mass in the house. The widow
