    it should be so called.
There are a few old people living in it, they can not talk Irish or tell stories in Irish.
Houses were more numerous in former times, there are one or two now in ruins.
Many of the people emigrated to America and England, and they still emigrate to England. The land was too poor and the farmers too small to support them, so they had to emigrate to foreign countries. When they earned money they sent some of it home to their people and in this way they helped the people at home to live as well as earning a living for themselves.
The land is boggy but some of it is made arable by it being reclaimed.
There are two rivers in it - "The New River" and the Deel. The New River is a large stream, it got its name
