Finn sent to the Land of Youth for champions to help him catch Dermot. They came, together with three wicked dogs.

The next day he went to the wood and cut two poles and stuck them in the ground and put his spear on top of them and then he backed straight from them and alighted on the top of the spear and jumped down again. The other man said thay they could do that, but they could not and he killed fifty more.
