- Children play many kinds of games namely 'Ring a Rosy', 'I lost my glove yesterday', 'a allie allie o', 'Pickie', 'Gobs', 'Drafts', 'Cards', 'Frog in the Middle', 'Wheel a Steamer', 'Shove a Halfpenny' and so on. 'Ring a Rosy' is a very simple game. It is played between twelve girls. They all twist around the road together with their hands joined. 'I lost my glove yesterday' is played much like 'Ring a Rosy'. The games played in side in a house are card playing, drafts and 'Shove a Halfpenny'.
