    There are no matched made in this district now a days but long ago there were matched made. The people give presents to the people who are married. In years gone by marriages used to take place in the houses. The two who are married go on their honeymoon to Mt. Melleray and sometimes to Dublin. The night after the marriage the married couple give and all night dance.
