There is a man in Welshestown, Lusk, Co Dublin who is very strong. He can balance a hundred weight on his chest and swing other heavy weights round in his hands. His name is Barney Riley. Local Heroes
“There is a man in Oldtown...”
There is a man in Oldtown in the parish of Rollestown Co Dublin named Matt Rooney who is a great bicycle rider. He rides in races at sports and wins many cups and cash prizes. He won a race from Balbriggan to Corduff a journey of ten miles a couple of years ago and was presented with a silver cup.
