A man named Mr Rodgers from Garristown makes barrels and churns. Lime burning is carried on in Clonabrey by a man named Whyte and it is carried on by a man named Slattery near Drogheda.Travellers used to go around selling baskets long ago. Old men and women used to make baskets in their homes long ago. The baskets were made from rushes which they used to get in bogs and marshy places.
