    With the weight of it, it fell down. John and his wife got very rich and he went away one day to pay the Landlord five year’s rent in advance. The Landlord wondered at him because he was about the poorest tenant he had on the estate “John says he" how did you come to be so well off” A great bottle that I got says John. It is worth thousands. “Would you sell” he said. “well it’s a thing I don’t like to do” says John. I will give you a hundred guineas for it. Says the Landlord. You are agreeable anyway says John. Very good, says he you will get it. John came home with his hundred guineas to Ann and Ann raised “hell” about it. Devils long it was till the whole money was all melted and gone and John and his wife were as poor as ever. They were so far gone that they had to sell the silver. He met a red man on his “Good morning John” said he and “you sold your bottle” I did says John which I am very sorry for. Would you give me another one says John and I shall go back with this silver home again. If the first one was good this one is three times as good says he. John went home with the bottle and he locked all the doors on the house. The children and his wife and himself stayed in one room. “Put on the white table cloth” as usual says he “bottle do your
