Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Long ago in the country the people would gather together into one house to play cards for money. These people were very poor and usually played for pennies of halfpennies and when they had no money they used to play for cups, saucers, mugs, jugs and plates.
    The family about which the story is told were good card players and before long they had a dresser full of delph of which there was not the equal in the countryside.
    One night when the youths of this family were coming home one of them exclaimed
    "Hi. Mick; your coat is on fire",
    "O. No," said Mick "Its Pats' coat".
    "It isn't my coat that's on fire but Sean's said Pat.
    Each imagined that his two brothers' coats' were blazing and they couldn't
