    Graham and the other men that were with him met a little woman. She asked them to give her a lift, none of them unless Richard would give her a lift. She jumped into the cart and before going very far the horse stopped all of a sudden and wouldn't move. The little woman jumped off and Richard had to turn and leave all the other carts, back to Moyne about three miles outside Donegal town.
    As he reached home he took another notion, that he would go to Ballyshannon for his meal. When he had his load ready to start, word reached the shop that the meal was three pounds dearer, but the shop-keeper gave it to him three pounds cheaper as he had the load filled when the word came to him.
