    At the bottom of my farm in Gortnaskeagh there are many holly bushes and in these the fairies used to dwell. These holly bushes were never cut not interfered with because bad luck was to follow anyone who touched them. The fairies did not come out until after midnight and when they came out they danced and sang around the holly trees.
