- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)He managed to get up on the rocks and stayed there till the tide went out. Then he came ashore. When the people got him and heard his story they knew if he was killed that they would get part of the cargo. They put him on a wild horse and the horse ran away and went over hedges and rocks and he was knocked off and killed. the last person of the crowd who was supposed to have done that deed died about six months ago. the captain's wife was found sixteen days after the shipwreck. Her finger cut was cut off to get the gold ring off it and she was buried afterwards in the sand.
