Nearly every village in the world has a forge, but around the district of Castlefin there are five forges. As we know a forge is a place where farm impliments are mended. In an forge we can see an anvil sitting in the middle of the floor, and beside the anvil is a sledge. Around the walls there are pieces of iron and old horse shoes. The interior walls are always dirty with smoke. In on corner of the house perhaps the fire is sitting on a platform about three feet high. On one side of the fire there is a pair of bellows and on the other side of the fire there is a through of water for cooling the irons. The door is always wide open so that the reapers may be admitted to be repaired. The bench and vice are sitting at the window so that the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
