- One day a man was going from Glenfinn to Letterkenny fair with a horse to sell, and going up past Breen More a crowd of fairies stood in front of him, and asked he would he sell the horse to them.
He said he was going to the fair to sell it, and if he did not sell it in the fair he would sell it to them, and the fairies said that it would be all right.
The man went to the fair, and he walked round all day but he could not get the horse sold.
Then he went out of the fair and on his way home the same crowd of fairies stood in front of him and asked him, would he sell the horse, and he said he would.
