- The Rob-Roy was a ship lost in Lough Swilly about the year eighteen hundred and ninety four.
It was carrying a cargo of sand to the port of Letterkenny.
When it was sailing up Lough Swilly, a great storm came on. The ship went down and three men were drowned one whose name was Mr Wilkin and the other mens' names were Mac Loughlin.
Two of the bodies were found along the beach but the other was never got. This boat can be seen in Lough Swilly when the water is very low.- Bailitheoir
