town there dwelt a man called William Abraham in an old house some years ago.
During the time of the Ulster Volunteers he hid their guns and ammunition and revolvers in his house because it was a lonely place. The quarry was not being worked at this time. When the Volunteers were not called on to fight the guns were not needed so they were kept a hide in this house.
One morning about three years ago the old man was sick; so the fire came in contact with the explosives which set the house on fire and burnt the old man to death.
