- Home- Made ToysLittle boy's toys
Small boys play with horses and carts. If they have'nt got real toys they pretend to be the horse themselves and draw a box or chair after them for the cart. They also get a box with a lid on it and put a hole in both sides and put a string through it and pull it after them for a roller. They light a stick and turn it round in their hands and that makes a "tingey - tingey - rosey."
Toys used by larger boys
Motors, guns, bicycles, horses, aeroplanes and ships and tops.
They make aeroplanes and ships from paper.
Toys used by small girls
Dolls, prams, teddy bears and tricycles.
They make dolls and teddy bears from old clothes and shavings.
Toys used by larger girls
Yeo-yeoes, dolls. They also play with skipping ropes.- Collector
