If you boil Bogbine in March and drink it, it is good for the blood.
If you boil nettles and eat them they are good for the blood also, and it is good to use them yet.
If you rub houseleek to sore eyes the sap will cure them. It grows at Glebe shore.
Chicken weed is good for a sprain.
Pounded whine are good for horses. The cure for warts is green beans chewed and put on them.
Hare's blood put on them is good also for them.
Cran bumer is good for the cattle that have coughs.
The cure for coughing is:- boil a few cloves of garlic in milk, and give it to the patient to drink.
Dandelion tea is a cure for consumption.
If a bucket of spring water is left in a smith's forge for him to cool hot irons in, that water is drunk to cure consumption.
