3rd July 1690 King Wm. encamped near Bremore after Boyne. You can see a stone within walls of old church which seems to have formed an arching for Castle doorway bearing date 1689.
There is also another stone with Arms of Buriford, Howth More wall.
In 1736 Caps McCulla lived in Bremore Castle- Evicted by Sheriff of Dublin after a fight Near by St Molagas House is the ancient Burial ground
The following poem was composed by Wm P Daly who wrote an article in Dublin "Mail" on "Bremore" .
Mr Day was @ one time Manager for Messrs Spicer? Local Bakery now (1935) holds position as Water Inspector under Dublin Co Council - Mr Daly takes a great interest in Local History.

Since neath the stately trees
In fair Bremore he worshiped God
And cared his flocks & bees
Of Irish birth for nature isle
A patriot's love he bore
And prayed for blessings on the land
Molaga of Bremore.
