    Often men on horseback and they would only come out of the fort and disappear again
    One night one of Anthony Melodys daughters was sewing, and it was after twelve o'clock, she heard a man coming on horseback and there was a basin outside the house, on a flag and she heard it going down, the [?]
    However the man knocked at the door, and said, "Put out that light, or I will soon make you put it out", The girl did as she was told, and she went out and watched the man and he disappeared in John Melody's fort. There are carriages without horses seen coming out of that fort and it is called the "Dead Carriage"
