    You can imagine the fishermen as they all stood in amazement there when they saw their comrade.
    They flocked round him inquiring where the remainder of the fishermen were.
    He stood up bravely and told the story from beginning to end.
    When I left home this morning I never thought of drowning. As my companies and I rowed out to the depths of the Atlantic this morning not one of us thought that it was rowing towards his death he was. For the first three miles our catch had been good but when half past ten came the fish seemed to get restless.
    They splashed about the boat and far out in the Atlantic three boats were seen turning over. Immediately we saw this we headed for the pier.
    Just as the boat was passing by Mullan Dubh she struck where the foam was as white as carded wool. The waves seemed to rise fastly. The next moment the boat was cast on the rocks and her crew was cast into the deep water
