- As you pass through Malin Town you come to a little town called Green Hill. Down at the strand there are three wells which are always fresh. When the tide comes in it covers the wells. Still the water remains fresh.
There is supposed to be a cure in the waters of the wells.
Long ago there lived an old woman who had a large family. All the children fell sick one year and most of them died.
A boy of about fourteen was very ill. The woman wished he would live.
Her neighbours told her to make a "turas" to these wells every Friday for nine Fridays.
When Thursday came her friends told her to go to the wells as it was Friday. Everybody thought it was Friday so the woman(continues on next page)- Collector
