8. A brood mare would not be allowed to carry a corpse, for if she tripped at a funeral the foal would have an ailment.
9. The people say that it is very unlucky for two funerals to meet, and that something would happen one of the people during the year.
10. The old people say that if a corpse changes colour, when about to be coffined, someone else would die out of the house before long.
