   The Southern winds usually bring rain, and Norther winds bring snow, Eastern winds bring hard cold weather, Western wind bring showers.
   When the sun sinks with a watery colour or into a bank of clouds it is the sign of wet weather.
   When the moon is encircles it is the sign of wet weather.
   When distant hills appear near rain will soon come.
   Birds are very unsettled before stormy weather and the sun and the moon appear red.
   When the cat scratches on the door or chair it is a sign of bad weather, or a dog when he
