(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)and his horse he turned in from the hunt again and he came out and told Donnelly if he would not keep his word that he would put him out of the property and Donnelly said she was his own wife. When Donnelly told him that he said that he would give him five pounds if she won the race. Donnelly went home and told the wife and she was rejoyced when she would get five pounds if she won the race. She dressed herself up to run the race and went in to captain Kelly and the two went out in the main road for the term of six miles back and forward and when they were within a quarter of mile of the winning post and she asked captain Kelly can he go any quicker and he said no and she bid him good bye.
