  1. The people used to travel on horse-back. The men used to go in front and the women behind them with a cushion under them they used to call that "Cullóg. They used to gallop like that. My Grandfather also saw how the people were buried in Black-Forty-Seven. One night there was a lot of people playing cards in Ballystack and among them was a man that had great courage and he was not afraid of anything. The others made a bet with him that he would not go to Kilkerrin Graveyard and get the skull
