- There is an old building down in Middle Street, Galway. It belonged to the Nuns of a French Order. there is a very old story about this Nunnery. The Story.
"There was once a soldier and he fell into a trap laid in the grounds of the Convent. The traps were set by the Nuns to capture Cromwellian soldiers."
