- An old road which starts at Grouselodge and leads to Derry going through Moderragh, on the old road to Cloonmone. It is crossed by the new road at Thomas O'Rorke's house through Killadiskert, Tullnarugoo so on till it crosses the Rampart into County Cavan on to Enniskillen and so on to Derry. The present public road was started in 1846 as relief work for the poor. The people who worked on the road only got four pence a day.
