    Playing "Button" is a very common game in this district.
    One person passes round a button, then each one has to guess who has the button. The one who guesses rightly will be the next to pass it around. The others who guess wrongly are slapped.
    "Fox and Goose", is a very interesting game.
    It is played between two people.
    A square is drawn on a sheet of paper or on a piece of cardboard. Then this large square is divided into a number of smaller squares. One person takes "X" and the other takes "O". Whichever person gets teh larger number of letters wins the game.
    "Up Chip Chop Cherry; is another very interesting game. It is also played between two.
    A circle is drawn which can be big or small. Figures are made around on this line perhaps as far as twenty four or thirty. Each one takes one side of the paper for himself. Then on their turn each one says the following words round on the figures or numbers, and whatever number the last of these words falls on, that number is marked off and put down on that person's side of the paper, and so on until all the
