- The people in this district sow potatoes every year. The farmers prepare the land with horses and farm implements.
They put farm yard and artificial manure on it. There is litter put under stock every night and is removed next day and it is piled up in heaps for six months and it rots and then it becomes farm - yard manure.
Some people sow potatoes in ridges and others in drills. The drills are made with a plough and sometimes ridges are made with it.
