On one stone is written "Memento Mortum" and on another the word "Memenomri". Close to the mass stone is another stone on which is engraved two chalices and a head. In the corner of the graveyard are heaps of stones which are supposed to be the remains of a church. Some of the oldest tombs are dark with age and at present the dates cannot be read on them, but some of the dates on the other tombs are 1811, 1837, 1842, and 1854. There is a vault in Kiltomey supposed to be the burial place of the "Lords of Kerry"(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
