In Mountcampbell, near the Shannon, there is a "Moss House" of a horse-shoe shape.
In olden days it was used as a Summer house by the landlord, Admiral Rowley. The roof was made of heath, tied up by tar ropes. Moss was used to cover the heath.
In the townland of Kildorragh, next to this townland (Tully) there were three stones to show the meeting of the three parishes, Killaghert Annaduff and Kilmore. In the course of time, they were broken.
It is said, that a man used to sit on these stones and fish during mass on Sundays.
When he died he was often seen sitting, fishing, on the stones.
