We took a short -cut through the fields, as it was bright enough to do so. When we got into the second field from my house we noticed a little girl dressed in black with a small gallon in her hand. I thought it was a young relative of mine who was fond of playing tricks so we walked quickly to see what he was going to do. When I first noticed her she was about 15 yards from us, and no matter how fast we walked she kept this distance from us without any effort.
