This is the history of Drumard Jone's
The forts and the mill
And the big houses he did own
The ruins of which are standing still. - Clooncolry is my native land
I'm very glad to say
It is situated in County Leitrim
Which is prospering well today.

In it there is a station
A packing house a bar
And also one hotel
At which you may hire a car
III
Through it the Great Western Railway runs
And also one small river
On the land are working her brave Irish sons
Whom I hope will toil on it ever

In it there are thirty householders
About fifty children in all
